We really appreciate the help we have received with this edition of Our Family Cookbook. Jim White, our stepbrother, helped us remember details of our childhood and provided photographs. Anna Faye (Midgett) Gentry gave us her years of genealogy research on our father’s father’s family as well as many photographs. Nadene Allen provided her genealogy research. Ollie (Robinson) Strickland provided photographs of our father’s mother’s family. We also raided Jim and Lola Short’s as well as Goldie (Short) Purcell’s photographs. We have scavenged other bits and pieces of family information from myriad sources. We thank them all and assure them that we will want more for the next edition.
